“I spent 15 years building financial software. I started Cline Infotech because the quality gap between what companies pay for and what they actually get was too big to ignore.”
I'm Harsh Shah, the founder of Cline Infotech. For 15 years I've built software for North American financial institutions — most recently as a senior engineer at a major US regional bank, leading engineering on critical mortgage origination and Identity & Access Management systems. Earlier work includes a North American retail giant and ClearVision Technologies.
I started Cline Infotech because I kept seeing the same problem: companies paying consulting-firm rates for work their senior staff weren't doing, or saving money on offshore vendors and getting burned by communication gaps and poor-quality code.
My answer is a model I'd have wanted as a client. I lead every engagement directly — owning architecture decisions, client communication, and the quality bar — while a team of engineers, designers, and project managers handles execution. You get senior-level engineering at prices that make sense for a $1M–$50M company.
How we work
Two complementary halves. One quality standard.
Senior engineering lead
Every engagement starts with me as the technical lead. I set the architecture, write the critical-path code, own the client relationship, and hold the quality bar. Nothing ships without my review.
A team of engineers, designers, and project managers
A small, experienced team handles execution alongside me — engineers, designers, and project managers I have worked with directly. Mid-market pricing. Banking-grade output.
How we think about the work
We own the outcome
If the spec is wrong, we flag it. If the approach needs to change mid-sprint, we raise it. Billing hours on a bad plan isn't something we do.
We write code we'd maintain
No shortcuts to hit a deadline. Every PR is reviewed for correctness, readability, and long-term maintainability — because someone has to live with this code.
We tell you when the scope is wrong
The best project decisions happen before a line of code is written. We'll push back on a bad spec rather than ship something you'll regret.
